Motivated by the Quran, Muslims eagerly look for Muhammad in the Bible. There are many attempts to find him, but perhaps the most popular of all is Deuteronomy 18. In this seldom seen 2014 Acts17Apologetics video, David Wood takes on Shabir Ally's attempt to find "the prophet" in Deuteronomy and shows that, in reality, the passage condemns Muhammad as a false prophet. Original Title: Is Muhammad Mentioned in Deuteronomy 18? (A Reply to Shabir Ally)
Debut: February 11, 2014
Original Description: According to the Qur’an (7:157), Jews and Christians find Muhammad mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel. Thus, Muslims are forced to find prophecies about Muhammad in the Bible. Unfortunately for Muslims, Muhammad is a false prophet according to the Bible. In this video, Shabir Ally argues that Muhammad is the prophet “like Moses” in Deuteronomy 18:18. Imagine Shabir’s surprise when he learns that, just two verses later, the Bible calls Muhammad a false prophet!
