Nationals MP Keith Pitt says nuclear reactors for energy production are “just a big kettle”.

Mr Pitt told Sky News Australia that it “just produces steam”.

“The only difference is the fuel source.

“These are pretty fundamental elements; it works everywhere else.

“With a small footprint, it won’t have an impact on agriculture.”
