It was nice to witness this parade were the children of Spain finish off their Christmas holidays trying to catch as many sweets they can, using anything from plastic shopping bags to an upside down umbrella.

The Three Kings Festival Parade was brought forward a day from what would have been the traditional day due to expected rain, by the local town hall officials.

Although I occasionally thought I was a target for some of the kids throwing the sweets and confetti, I managed to duck and dive to avoid getting a nicely aimed sweet, barr one, you know who you are lol... but all part of the fun... or the craic where I come from... enjoy, I did.
