Soy salmon one-pot-rice. Cooked easily using our beloved rice cooker.
By now, you should be able to tell what’s our favourite fish 🤣. You can use batang or cod for this too. Use chunky type of fish with lesser bones.
Cut 300g of salmon fillet into chunks. Marinate with 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp dark soy sauce and 1 tsp sweet sauce. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and mix well. Set aside.
In 220ml of water, add 1 tsp light soy sauce and 1 tsp mirin. Mix well.
Wash 1 rice cup of Japanese rice and add into the rice cooker pot. Add 1 sliced onion and 5 sliced okra. Pour in the seasoned water.
Cook in the rice cooker using the Rice mode.
30 minutes later, add the marinated salmon with the sauce. Sprinkle some black sesame seeds. Continue to cook for 15 minutes.
When the rice and salmon are cooked, push the salmon to one side and mix up the rice, sauce and ingredients. Serve in bowls.
Another salmon rice bowl but with different sauce and side ingredients. Yummy 😋
