Nobody likes this generation Toyota Sequoia… nobody. Well maybe 12 people or so but that’s it. Right?

Maybe not. Although SUPER dated and archaic with its thirsty 5.7L V8… it may just become “the one that got away…” nothing beats the bulletproof reliability of this Sequoia. As it shared the same power plant and transmission as the previous 2021 and older Toyota Tundra. People already miss the “old” Tundra especially as the new tech-filled versions experiences numerous issues to include the huge wastegate nightmare.

Paying $5-6 per gallon for 13-15 mpg is a huge bummer. But so is taking your vehicle to the shop for repair and recall every month. Pick your poison I suppose.


The interior of this is a SEA of plastic… which is an eyesore. BUT! It’s simple. Toyota enthusiasts love simple. All the buttons and knobs are within reach and easy to use.
