The canine squad of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is actively working to rescue people from the debris of the three-storey building that collapsed in the Bhiwandi area in Maharashtra’s Thane district. Among the four teams of NDRF who are on the incident site, three are from Mumbai and one is from Pune Headquarters. The death toll in the Bhiwandi building collapse rose to six on April 30.
