Karnataka Examinations Authority has released revised MBBS Seat Matrix after provisional allotment list for Round1 is released. There is one good news for All India Quota students and one bad news for karnataka state student. Karnataka Examinations Authority, KEA has released NEET 2019 provisional allotment list for Round -1 Counselling. After the provisional allotment is released, it released updated seat matrix based on the settlement reached between Govt of Karnataka and self-financing private medical colleges on 3rd july 2019. During this agreement, seat distribution between govt quota and private quota seats are finalised. Based on the Karnataka high court direction on 3rd july 2019, KEA released updated seat matrix for 2019 admissions.

158 MBBS seats in govt quota is removed and 200 more seats are added to private quota. The final first round allotment will be released on 7th july 2019. There is going to be difference in cut off in the final allotment list compared to the provisional allotment list. Lets get back to KEA counselling. This is the NEET score cut off for Round 1 NEET 2019 Karnataka provisional allotment for government quota seats. Based on the revised seat matrix, there is reduction of 5% seats in govt quota. When we add 5% to the AIR cut off 70635 and find the corresponding NEET score from the KA 2019 merit list, the cut off increases by 5 marks. The final allotment cut off for General merit category is expected to be around 472. Compared to last year cut off there is an increase of 80 marks. You can expect a 4 to 5 marks increase for all reservation categories.
