Spring is almost here, hummingbirds are nesting on the house, and seeds and plants are popping out of the ground, on their own, so it is time to plant. Still growing Papaya, greens like collard, tree collard, kale, Swiss Chard, red Swiss Chard, walking onions, red vein sorrel, green sorrel, lemon verbena, mint, dino kale, thyme, all kinds of herbs and so much more. I plant so many vegetable plants in both large containers and even in small pots, like nursery pot and flower pots. Growing food everywhere, as the days start to get warmer and stay warm. To prepare to grow is easy, layer all the garden matter and kitchen waste, like food peelings, egg shells, spoiled foods, rotten food, coffee grinds, most anything that will work for your garden, all will break down to create perfect soil. NO turning for me, just pile and grow, be it the ground, large tub or plant pot (like a flower pot you get from the nursery), all will work for many types of foods you can grown.
