Unlike Albufeira, Lagos is considered a more budget-friendly location in the Algarve. However, the location, type, and season all affect how much a place in Lagos, Portugal, costs to stay in. You can still find a place to stay that fits your budget.⁠

You can find Valmar Villas in the best part of Lagos. They have a view of the ocean. The hotel is close to Porto da Mós beach, where I hurt myself (please don't be scared off by my bad luck; the beach is so beautiful), and each room has its own balcony. Valmar public transport is 100 metres away.⁠

Each room has sliding glass doors that open onto a balcony with furniture. Most of the balconies have views of the garden or the sea. The living rooms have cable TV, work desks, and armchairs. (great for remote working) 💼👩🏽‍💻 Praia da Luz is less than a 5-minute drive from Valmar Villas. The natural rock formations at Ponta da Piedade are less than 3 km away.🪨 🌊⁠

💡PRO TIP: You may find a few bad reviews, like people complaining about the facilities. But honestly, we didn't have any problem staying at this accommodation. The host was very welcoming and advised us where to see the rock formation and places to avoid.⁠
