St Joseph's College was founded in 1880 and the foundation stone was blessed and laid.
A junior and senior seminary providing a semi-monstatic environment and full learning in philosophy and theology, preparing them for priesthood.
A sharp drop in enrolment led to the name seminary no longer being used and in the 80's it was described as a boarding school for boys considering vocation.
The last student left in 1992 and the building was just used for conferencing and as a place to retreat.
The building and land was controversially sold in 1996.
Now after been sat so long its falling into sad disrepair.
