To make this super soft and moist sponge cake you will need
Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 sup all purpose flour
4 large eggs
1 cup of unsalted butter( 220g)
1/2 cup of whole milk
1cup of granulated sugar
1/4 cup of brown sugar(optional, can substitute with granulated sugar)
1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp round cinnamon
1/4 tsp of salt
1 TBS baking powder
1 and 1/2 TBS of vanilla essence
zest of one lemon or orange
9 in baking pan
oven temp 340 degree F for 35 mins or until toothpick comes out clean. Keep in mine time may varies.
Place in center rack for baking
As tempting as is it don't open oven door before its at least 80% baked as it will cause temp to drop and cause the car to sink in the middle.
