Beet Kvass is very simple, easy and cheap to make; only requires few ingredients and a few minutes to make. A great probiotic and liver tonic and detoxifier as well as digestive issues, kidneys and therefore good for the blood.
Recipe:
1 Medium to large Beetroot
2 litre jar
1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Himalayan salt or celtic salt
1/3 cup of Whey
Pure water- non-chlorinated to fill jar
Method:
Cut beets into about 1cm cubes and place into jar.
Put in 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Salt.
Put in 1/3 cup of whey.
Fill jar near to the top with fresh, clean and pure water.
Place on lid and store out of sunlight for 2-3 days
After 2-3 days, filter out the beet cubes and put the liquid into a bottle and place into the fridge, to chill and store.
Drink and enjoy once chilled.
Beet Kvass can turn your urine and excretment orange to bright red, so don't be concerned, that flow naturally through your digestive system, liver-kidneys- bladder is cleaning you out.
