This report first ran October 26th, 2017. We exposed a possible security problem that had slipped through the cracks. We first began looking into this after a report out of Kansas City when police found a dead person inside a car abandoned at KCI. Family members reported the person missing months earlier and wondered how no one would notice someone dead in the front seat of a car at the airport. We then found repeated examples at Lambert Airport in St. Louis. New technology now spots this problem immediately.
