Perak recorded 148 new Covid-19 infections on Monday after a surge of over 1,000 cases on Sunday, while the nation recorded 2,192 new infections.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said six more deaths were recorded, including that of a 17-year-old non-Malaysian male, bringing the total fatalities to 1,062.
