Is being single a vocation? Catholic singles can feel a mix of ignored and lost on their vocation. The Catholic single life is so hard. When discussing Catholic singles a state in life vs. vocation is confusing, what is a state in life vs what is single vocation is clarified in this video! The question is God calling me to be single, is very important in discerning a vocation, because staying single as a Catholic may or may not be a vocation if it is not consecrated for the purpose of the Lord. Again if you are wondering s staying single a vocation, and do we all have a Vocation it's important to understand being catholic and single, vs consecrated single. Or how being single as a catholic and living a consecrated life is different. Again single life and Catholic is is different than discerning consecrated virginity. There is a vocation of single life as a consecrated virgin but not everything living a single life as a Catholic is living a vocation many are in a state of life discerning to where God is calling them to in their Vocation.
