Braille Challenge is the only annual academic competition of its kind to promote braille literacy for students K-12 who are blind or visually impaired. Students compete regionally from all over the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom culminating with the top 50 braille readers competing live in Los Angeles each summer.
The Braille Challenge Finals Awards Ceremony on June 22, 2024 will celebrate these 50 finalists and their families with a lively dinner and award ceremony where finalists in each age category will be announced as winners. As well, the TVI Teacher of the Year will be recognized, and new in 2024, our Community 'Hero' Partners will be acknowledged along with our gracious sponsors and supporters.
