This film (sadly with no audio track) is the only remaining black and white footage of the 3 Hovercraft built by Air Cushion Vehicles Australasia in Launceston, Northern Tasmania in the late 60's. It shows their first craft FRBH-1 (originally built as a hovercraft, but later converted to a sidewall craft), their second craft ACVA-6 (6 seater), and finally their last craft ACVA-10 (10 seater) all being built and then tested on the Tamar River. ACVA-10 was then taken to PNG for further trials and the film ends here. There is a short colour clip of ACVA-6 being uploaded soon.
