We use many different syringes in surgery and anesthesia to administer medications while you're asleep. It actually takes more strength to push the bigger syringes, but we have to use them for certain meds when you're asleep under anesthesia!
We use certain medications in certain size syringes because it's SAFER to do so, that's what that BABY SYRINGE is for! I use the baby syringe for things like lidocaine injections in the skin. I also use it for HIGH POTENCY MEDICATIONS, like cardioactive and blood pressure medications that have a very narrow therapeutic index!
