Touring the West Coast of the US for a few weeks for summer and with two kids in the back of the car, and phones won't be enough to keep the occupied when on the road. I asked them what they were going to do and they said they wanted to take their laptops. Now, phones can be charged in the car or from normal battery packs but not devices that have UK 3 pin plugs. Hence, this purchase. Lots of adaptors to choose from, apple, sony, Asus and Lenovo etc. Easy to use and although powerful, quite compact.
This isn't just for the kids though, it works great with my 65w 20v Lenovo! And with the 2 x 3.0 Quick charge USB sockets and the USB-C outlet it will look after all the phones as well. The Pass through capability means it as well as the devices can be charged when in the hotel though. Looking forward to using it when I'm in the garden with the projector or drone, something similar.
