🚢 It’s a rainy Sunday morning, and my buddy Theodosis and I are off to Porto Koufo for a long-awaited spearfishing adventure. It’s been months since our last trip together, so we’re excited to finally be back in the water. With the weather forecasted to improve, we quickly launch the boat and set out to explore.

🌊 We take turns diving, but there’s not much fish activity at first. Ambushing near some smallfish, I manage to catch an amberjack. We change spots and soon spot a few dentex swimming among the seagrass meadows. Unfortunately, they’re too cautious to come within shooting range, so I secure another amberjack before we head to our final fishing location.

🐟 As the session winds down, we decide to shift focus from hunting predators to catching some easier fish. We’re able to snag a few delicious parrotfish to share with our families later.

🔱 While we didn’t land any massive catches, we had a great time out there. It felt amazing to be back out on the water together after so long, enjoying the beauty of the sea and the thrill of spearfishing!
