Two men are under arrest and police are searching for a third after two seemingly unconnected crimes occurred Saturday night.
The first incident occurred when two men robbed a gas station on 13th St. in Hyde Park around 11:30 pm. Witnesses told police that two men walked out of the gas station with alcohol they did not pay for. Two men who witnessed the theft tried to intervene before a fight broke out. Boise Police say that a third man then got out of a nearby car and pointed a gun at the two men who intervened. The man with the gun and the two who allegedly stole the alcohol then fled the area.
The second incident occurred at an apartment complex around 2:15 am near 24th and Fairview Ave. Police say that a man and woman were arguing outside a residence when two men interjected and began fighting with the man. Nearby witnesses report that the two men then entered an apartment to retrieve knives, returned, and stabbed the man.
