Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Kenda Karrier ST 225/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range C. This is an ST tire, which means special trailer tire. It has the sturdy sidewalls so it can handle heavy loads. This tire is created specifically for trailers; it's not intended for use on other vehicles. It is built with double steel belts and full nylon plies; they combine for nice superior function and long tire life.

The tread on it is a nice computer generated tread design, and they use premium rubber compound materials, which will give you maximum traction in wet or dry conditions. This does give a nice, smooth ride and excellent stability at highway speeds, and this is an ST tire, which means it meets the Department of Transportation specifications.Few specs on this. This tire will fit on a wheel size of 15" by 6" wide, 15" by 6 1/2" wide, and 15" by 7" wide. The tire size will be stamped on the side wall; if you look real close right down here by the rim, or the bead, you'll see ST for special trailer, 225/75R15. The R designates it is a radial design tire.

Section width on this tire is 8.9". Overall diameter from the bottom to the very top, when it's inflated, is 28.4". This tire is a load range C, which means it's a six-ply rated tire. It has a maximum load capacity of 2,150 pounds at 50 PSI.The last thing I do want to mention, most all the new trailer tires are coming through with speed ratings on them now, and the speed rating, where you'll find that, it's usually designated by a letter designation. Right where we went over the tire size, right here, if you look right after you'll see two numbers for a load index, and then the letter M.

Speed rating M will mean this tire has an 81 mile per hour speed rating. That should do it for the review on the Kenda Karrier ST225/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range C.
