Hello everyone! Today, join me on a walking tour around Karachi's bustling Civic Center and its surrounding areas, where November still brings warmth with a temperature of 35°C. Starting at the Civic Center, I crossed through various lanes lined with parked cars, rickshaws, and stalls offering tasty snacks. This area is known for its office buildings, including Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation. Moving along, I visited Karim Plaza, famous for its document services, with typing and legal shops in abundance. You'll also spot tea and burger stalls as we walk by, with people busily preparing and attesting documents.
We continue our journey to explore the head office of Sui Southern Gas, passing by the well-known Expo Center and enjoying fresh juice stalls offering lemon and sugarcane juice. The local R3 Red bus route and the nearby DC office canteen add to the lively atmosphere, and there’s even a police station nearby for added security.
Walking towards Mashriq Center, I observed a food street with cafes and popular burger and biryani spots like Café Subhanullah. Construction work is ongoing with brick paving along the road. The area around Mashriq Center is buzzing with shops for easy load, pan, clothing, real estate, and photocopying services, along with Erum Villas and a large parking lot.
Continuing our walk, we come across stalls for delicious kachori, while numerous lawyers are available nearby for document services like domicile and PRC preparations. A cool breeze under the shade of trees near Maymar Heights rejuvenates me, accompanied by the soothing sound of crows.
Passing by Arshad Estate Agency, the real estate offices, and a grocery market, I eventually arrive at Jama Masjid Farooqia.
