Our malted barley here at Annandale Distillery comes all the way from the Speyside region of Scotland. This is due to a lack of Concerto barley farmers in the Local area, and also partly by choice.
Our owner is a huge fan of Speyside single malts. It comes here pre-malted, both unpeated and peated; our peated malt comes in at 45ppm.
