Ingredients for our Christmas Eve mushroom soup recipe:
- 200g dried forest mushrooms
- 2 shallots
- 3 small carrots
- 2 parsnips
- 2 bay leaves
- 5 grains of allspice
- 5 grains of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 litres water
- salt to taste
- square pasta (łazanki) or thin egg noodles
