Mike Strautmanis has been engaging Chicagoans and stakeholders all over the country to learn how to create systemic impact to empower young leaders to give back to their communities and increase access to economic opportunity. He not only shares his story, but also how we can make a difference on each other and influence the next generation of leaders. Michael Strautmanis is a proud Chicagoan and foundation leader who works to advance social impact strategies. An attorney with organizing roots, he spent over a decade in Washington, D.C., increasing access to economic opportunity, strengthening the judicial system, and championing equity and inclusion. During that time, he served in the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs in the Obama Administration. Mr. Strautmanis currently acts as Executive VP for Civic Engagement at the Obama Foundation, where he develops and leads outreach and engagement efforts to make communities more connected and equitable. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
