Alamance Community College Computer Aided Design and Mechanical Engineering Technology programs are teaching students to bring ideas to reality. As a student you will be provided extensive (six to seven classes) training in the use of SolidWorks design software. The program also includes six classes featuring AutoCad, Revit and Chief Architect software.
This video illustrates real world applications, career paths and the creative opportunities available to CAD and MET graduates. We encourage women to consider design and engineering as a career option, this lead the CAD department head to establish the WiSDEM, (Women in Science Design, Engineering & Manufacturing) movement.
