Today we take a look around the homestead at some of the forage that is available for bees as they come out of winter. This is a critical time when bees are most likely to starve. Having forage available for bees to help them get through this time is a great plan. We also open feed during this time, to help ensure we don't lose hives to starvation. There is a great clip of a bee close up drinking in slow motion as well.
