LHB has finally seduced the Queen! The Deccan Queen will soon move away from ICF cars and run with new LHB rakes with a unique livery. The new Livery called the Restrained Imperium has been designed by the National Institute of Design (NID).
The LHB Deccan Queen rakes will be hauled by two Kalyan WAP-7 locomotives with matching livery in Push-Pull mode. Expect an increase in top speed from the current 105 Kmph to 130 Kmph.
The LHB Deccan Queen rake will continue its erstwhile ICF USP and have a Dining Car with seating for 40 passengers (at a time) and big panoramic windows with 1480 mm wide windows. A first of its kind for LHB on a regular passenger express.
