I thought I should re-record this. I wrote this song for a Mothers' Day show a couple of years ago. I tell you, I get more requests for this song than anything else I've ever done in my shows. It all started with a chapter on "Momisms" in my book Terry Tales. My step-father, Floyd Young, gave me some pearls of wisdom too, such as "Never turn down a free meal or a chance to go to the bathroom.", or "Nothing good ever happens after midnight, Terry.". True, true.
