Mr. Kavu Hemanath Shetty, a well known Politician of Indian National Congress Party in Puttur. He is serving in Party for more than Three Decades. He has started his political career his college days through being involved in NSUI, a student wing of Congress. He has been worked as President of Puttur Block Congress and KPCC Coordinator also. He has worked as Election In-charge in the elections held in various places of Karnataka and Kerala. He had founded the Bharatiya Hindu Parishad as an alternative to the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of the RSS.
Being active in Politics, he is also actively involved in various organizations like Bantara Yane Nadava Matru Sangh, Lions Club and other social service organisations. Also did considerable work in religious fields. In 1994, as he did not get an chance to Contest from Congress in Puttur, he moved out from the Congress party and Contested in Election in KCP . This election resulted in the defeat of Congress Candidate Mr.Vinay Kumar Sorake and gave a new turn to BJP Candidate DV Sadananda Gowda's political life. Since then, Kavu Hemanath Shetty of is identified as a rebel leader in the Congress. Now in 2023 also, he is aspirant of Congress B Form. In this exclusive interview with Suddi, he has spoke openly about his social and political life.

ಪುತ್ತೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಅಪವಾದದಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರಲು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ
2018ರಲ್ಲಿ ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಉನ್ನತ ನಾಯಕರು ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ನೀಡುವ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು
ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಫೈನಲೈಸ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು, ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ
