The first kayaking trip of 2024 for me and friends took place on January 14th during an event with Friluftsfrämjandet Haninge, a local branch of the Swedish Outdoor Association. Exploring the coastline near Gålö in the southern Stockholm archipelago, we had a great time - and appreciated this, as most other launch locations were frozen over, even on sea water, and definitely on lakes, during a particularly icy season.
