A king salmon trolling season closure would have devastating impacts to Southeast Alaska families.

Julie Yates and her son Bear Yates live in Craig and say about half of their income comes from the king trolling season.

The Wild Fish Conservancy’s misguided lawsuit will affect Alaska’s fishermen, including the troll fishing fleet, processors and the support sector by shutting down the trolling season in Southeast Alaska.
