Pandan is the Asian version of vanilla but even cheaper and more versatile. Loved for its amazing green color it was once used by suitors to woo their beautiful Thai girl by weaving into a bouquet. I am not sure that Thai girls today will appreciate the thought quite so much as in the past.
But don't despair because you can save a whole load of time not bothering brushing up your weaving skills and make a great thirst quenching drink in just a few minutes. A much better option I am sure you will agree.
