-------
In early 2012 the British Schools Exploring Society headed to the Dhofar province in the far South West of Oman, the expedition team spent time in the Rub' al-Khali (Empty Quarter) as well as the costal region of the Dhofar mountains.
In association with the Office for Conservation of the Envrionment, Diwan of Royal Court, Oman, the expedition team's primary scientific objective was to establish the population abundance and density of key indicator species.
This video focuses on the Arabian Leopard (Panthera pardus nimr), caught on film by the camera traps that the expedition team set up in Wadi Sayq.
