SealAcross® is an easy open, tamper evident and resealable feature applied in the end seal area. You can see the white 'Pull to Open' tab near the end seal. The package is patent pending. SealAcross can be used for a variety of flexible packaging applications, including vertical baggers and horizontal flow wrappers. SealAcross material is FDA compliant, moisture resistant, maintains package barrier properties, is freezer and microwave compatible, and appropriate for a wide variety of film structures. Available in a clear, no label look, with a printed tab providing the Pull to Open instructions. SealAcross is applied in the cross direction of the packaging film with no extra packaging film required.
The consumer grips the end seal of the package and the tab of the label and pulls them apart. As the unique TamperTear™ technology provides a controllable film tear. TamperTear technology reassures the consumer that the package is being opened for the first time. The package opens full width, making it easy to get access to the product. This package is very easy for anyone to use. To close, the consumer simply presses to reseal. The TamperTear makes it difficult to realign package graphics, providing a highly effective tamper evidence the full width of the package.
SealAcross is pre-applied to your packaging film at Sealstrip. The SealAcross reseal will contain the product, maintains product freshness, while also reducing food and repackaging waste.
