Virtual Colonoscopy (VC), also known as CT Colonography (CTC), offers patients a less-invasive alternative to conventional colonic polyp diagnostic techniques. Reviewing and assimilating CTC images can be tedious and challenging because of the daunting amount of information captured in a CT exam.
iCAD is working to ease the challenges facing VC imaging for the identification of colonic polyps by creating software solutions that automatically identify colon polyps. By focusing on superior identification capabilities, our works-in-progress for CT Colon solutions are being designed to assist in improving the accuracy, consistency and workflow during the reading process.
