At first glance it might be confusing as to what this is. This is another example of nature's perfection that we managed to capture on film.

The ground nester female Grey Francolin or Teetur sits on a batch of her eggs inside a bunch of grass. The nest and the female bird are perfectly hidden in plain sight. They usually lay 4-10 eggs and takes around 20 days to hatch. The female bird is also furiously feeding even while sitting inside the nest.
We have a perfect shot of the bird's nest and eggs after the mother went off for food. The nest has eight eggs which are creamish and light brown in colour. Notice the light indentation on the ground lined with dried grass which serves as its nests.
