A federal judge in Mexico has ordered the release of four of seven military officials accused of involvement in the June 2014 extrajudicial killings of 22 suspects allegedly tied to organized crime in Tlatlaya, State of Mexico. The judge cited lack of evidence for his ruling, but the four still face charges in a military court. While the military claims the soldiers acted in self-defense, the National Human Rights Commission reports that 11 of the suspects had turned themselves in before being killed. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico City. [ Ссылка ]
