I have owned 2 males and 1 female rescue. From my personal experience of owning 3 Indian Ringneck parrots, this is my opinion on the pros, cons and what I believe fits into both from what I have experienced.

I don’t believe all Ringneck parrots fit into all three categories exactly. Just like we as humans, we are all unique and different in our own ways.

I do believe Ringneck parrots get a bad name and can be amazing pets, but you will need to put in the time and effort for this to happen.

I personally don’t recommend a Indian Ringneck parrot as your first pet bird. But again that is my own opinion from my personal experience.
