The stock GPU, I got from a friend for a good price, only had a single fan, that blew into the heatsink. Meaning bad thermals and horrible noise. So for the first time I installed an aftermarket cooler on it.
Technically this is should be my first stream. So expect whining and even worse technical prowess. Recorded on 2021.06.05. But Youtube wanted to wait for a day before I could stream on that, so it didn't get uploaded.
Take away from the video:
Look up the manual before you try to screw something in.
The only way to decently mount the small heatsinks is thermal adhesive, which is kind of permanent. Thermals were good enough on memory, so didn't find a need to add them. Didn't stop me from trying though
