Jon Auer from The Posies played a few last minute solo shows in California and did a one off show at the Eagle Tavern (now SF Eagle) in San Francisco. The band Shuggie were also playing which featured former Posies drummer Mike Musburger, I offered to play bass and Jon took me up on it and Mike played drums. So I got a list of possible songs a few days before, learned what I needed to and then we got up and played with no rehearsal whatsoever. So, I got to play bass with half of one of my favorite bands.
