Skyshards in ESO
Skyshards are objects found all around Tamriel in ESO. Every three skyshards a player collects will yield one skill point. There’s a total of 381 skyshards players can get with the Morrowind expansion, which means you will be able to grab 127 skill points if you get every skyshard in game. This is more than a third of all skill points in game, so it’s needless to say skyshards are a great source of skill points.
The locations of skyshards are static and the exact same for every player. Once you use the skyshard, it will disappear on your screen.
Tamriel is worth exploring inside out, because Skyshards are often found in locations you’d least expect: on balconies, behind corners and inside deepest dungeons. There are achievements to collect skyshards, and the achievements include hints of each skyshard’s location.
Skyshards are special collectibles that grant skillpoints in Elder Scrolls Online. Skyshards in ESO can be found and interacted to in the world, giving your character a permanent additional skillpoint for every three shards that you collect. Their locations are both above ground and in Dungeons, so be sure to explore thoroughly!

Reaper’s March – 16 Skyshards total, 7 in delves or public dungeons.

Stros M’kai – 3 Skyshards

Imperial City Skyshards – 13 Skyshards total, 6 on the surface of the Imperial City and 7 down in the Imperial Sewers.
Lower Craglorn Skyshards
There’s a total of 12 Skyshards in Lower Craglorn, all of them in delves or public dungeons.
Craglorn skyshards are difficult to get solo unless you’re a nightblade, because the dungeons are not comparable to your standard smaller public dungeons.
Upper Craglorn Skyshards
There’s a total of 6 Skyshards in Upper Craglorn, all of them in delves or public dungeons.
Morrowind Skyshards (Morrowind DLC)
Vvardenfell – 18 Skyshards total, 8 in dungeons or delves.
Wrothgar Skyshards (Orsiunium DLC)
Wrothgar – 17 Skyshards total, 8 in dungeons or delves.
Hew’s Bane Skyshards (Thieves Guild DLC)
Hew’s Bane – 6 Skyshards total, 2 in dungeons or delves.
Gold Coast Skyshards (Dark Brotherhood DLC)
Gold Coast – 6 Skyshards total, 2 in dungeons or delves.
Other Skyshard Locations
When you escape from the Wailing Prison at the start of the game, the prophet summons 1 Skyshard.
Coldharbor is accessible to every alliance and it includes 16 Skyshards total, 7 of them in dungeons.
