Kherson recapture may actually take up a few months. A Ukrainian military officer said that while Ukrainian forces have gained ground in some of the regions in Kherson it will take time for the entire region to be recaptured. Ukrainian Defence Ministry has said that their first concern right now is the lives of the civilians and armed forces. The strategy has to be slow and steady with minimum loss.
