(7 Nov 1957) Road block at Mill Hill, just outside London - a fine old beach tree, tumbled by the fury of a hundred mile an hour wind. It crashed into the grounds of a prep school. Something more serious at Hatfield New Town, Hertfordshire, where houses literally had their roofs blown off. New houses with roofs of aluminium sheeting.
