23YO College Student Brutally Murdered By A Campus Security Guard After Leaving Bachelorette Party

This is the story of a 23 year old college student named Kaylee Sawyer who seemed to be living the life of her dreams. She was studying to become a dentist at Central Oregon Community College and was dating the love of her life, Cameron, who she one day planned to marry. But on one fateful night in the summer of 2016, Kaylee’s young life would come to a shocking and tragic end.

Kaylee Sawyer had lived in Bend, Oregon her entire life and was the oldest of five siblings. She was stunningly beautiful and was said to be the bright light of every social gathering. While attending dental school, she was working as a dental assistant at a local dentistry. She and her boyfriend Cameron Reimhofer had been together for two years at this point and her family said that they couldn’t definitely see a bright and meaningful future between the two of them.

On the evening of July 23rd, 2016, Kaylee got all dressed up to attend a friend’s bachelorette party in downtown Bend. It was at this party that she ended up getting heavily intoxicated and began doing some things that she probably wouldn’t do if she had been in the right state of mind. This involved supposedly dancing with a man who wasn’t her boyfriend. A little after midnight, Kaylee did end up texting Cam to come pick her up which he did. But when she got in the car, the two of them both began arguing. This supposedly had to do with how intoxicated Kaylee had gotten and some of her behavior that Cam viewed as reckless. The two continued arguing even when they arrived back at home.
