This 5th segment continues our special discussion of time value. This time we walk through a specific example of a business decision: buying bonds. Bonds serve a dual purpose. Not only are they a realistic example of an investment that a company might make, but they also have two time value calculation (interest payments as an annuity and a final payment as a lump sum), giving us a good opportunity to practice our time value skills.
