Presented here is the launch of Space Shuttle Challenger on mission 51L. January 28, 1986.
This is a multi angle view of the launch. The audio you will hear is of the PAO Loop with the NASA (Select) Television audio track. You will hear the director calling up shots from the different camera angles, all of which you will see in the video.
Row 1 consists of the Switched or Live feed. This is what we all saw or have seen. Its the Live broadcast that the world saw. The next three angles are pad cameras.
Row 2 consists of from L to R Camera 1, 2, 3 , & 4.
Row 3 has the Roof cam, Helicopter Camera, and the Trackers ROTI & ITEK.
The composite video is courtesy of the YouTube Channel ShuttleVideo.
I post this here for educational and historical purposes. It is a unique view of the launch. One rarely seen or heard.
God Speed the crew of 51L!
