How To Turn Off Chevy Tow Haul Mode: Disable Chevy Tow Haul Mode. In this video tutorial I will show you how to turn off Chevy tow haul mode.
Here is how to do it;
Locate the Tow/Haul Button
To disable tow/haul mode in your Chevy, you need to first locate the button. The location of your tow/haul button depends on your Chevy model. In most older Chevy models, you’ll find the tow/haul button positioned toward the end of the gear shift lever. For other Chevy models, particularly newer models like the Silverados and the Chevy Tahoe 2024, the tow/haul button is located on the left side of the steering wheel on the Traction Select System. It may be labeled Tow/Haul.
Press or Rotate the Tow/Haul Button
Once you have located the button, based on its location, you should press or rotate it to turn tow/haul mode on or off. For models where the tow/haul button is located on the gear shift lever, you need to press the tow/haul button to turn tow/haul mode on or off. If in your Chevy model, the tow/haul button is among the buttons in the Traction Select System, you need to rotate or turn the button to the left to turn tow/haul mode on or off.
Check your Dashboard
Once you have pressed the button or rotated it, you should check your dashboard to see if the tow/haul indicator is on or off. If you have successfully disabled tow/haul mode, the light should be off.
Make sure to consult your Chevy’s manual if pressing or rotating the button does not turn off tow/haul mode.
