Visiting Freiburg, you´ll encounter something special. It´s not the Black-Forest cake, it´s not the Black-Forest Ham, and also not the Cuckoo Clock – it´s the little streams that run through the Old Town. But beware! There is a saying, that when you stumble into one, you have to marry someone from Freiburg :-) So if you want to stay forever in this beautiful city, go for it… But if you´re visiting for a few days, there is so much to see and do. For example, visit Freiburg Cathedral, or take the funicular up the hill to overview the medieval Old Town. With wine and beer gardens, there is something for everyone to sip on.
